New to Circus as an Accountant, PM or Producer? Here's everything you need to know.

Overview

Welcome to Circus, the platform used by thousands of productions to efficiently and securely onboard, track time and pay their Workers so you can get back to telling great stories on set (or in the production office).

Quick Guides

To get started, we've broken down our most commonly used guides for accountants, production managers, producers, and studio executives.

  1. After setup, your Circus Account Manager will send you a Backstage Invite so you can access the production immediately. If you click on the invite email, you'll either be redirected to Sign up for an Account, or Log In if you've previously used Circus. Either way, you'll see the production on your dashboard and will immediately have access.

  2. Next, you may want to Create a Start Pack for yourself. Send yourself a Locked Invite or use the Open Invite link to set your own deal points and onboard.
    ​

  3. Then, start building your team by Inviting Workers

  4. As Start Packs trickle in, whether you're an Approver or Manager, you'll want to learn how to Manage Start Packs from the Overview page, then how to Review & Approve Start Packs.
    ​

  5. If there are any issues with the deal points or some key documents are missing, learn how to Dispute Start Packs. And don't forget our Upload Document feature for some residency documents!
    ​

  6. We've also got quick guides on how to Code Start Slips or bulk Download Data or Documents from Start Packs.
