🔐 To Send a Backstage Invite, you'll need either Circus Admin, Admin, or Manager access. Learn more about Managing Permissions. This feature is only accessible to 🖥️ desktop users.
Overview
Some people, like studio executives or Production Managers, need access to a production but don’t need to fill out a start pack (at least not right away). Backstaging is a simple, fast way to give them access without requiring anything more than their name, role and signature.
Sending a Backstage Invite
On the Production Dashboard, click on the blue invite icon in the left menu navigation., then click Send Backstage Invite to open the card. You'll enter the Worker's union, role, legal name, and email, then click the Send Backstage Invite button.
If the Worker already has an account with Circus, they will automatically be added to the Production but If the Worker doesn't yet have an account with Circus, they will be prompted via email to create an account first.

Pro Tip: Workers can create a Start Pack after being Backstaged by simply sending themselves a Locked Invite or by clicking on the Open Invite link. Learn more here.
