Control how you want to receive Circus notifications

With Circus, you'll receive notifications for various reasons, whether you've been invited a production or workspace, need to complete your Start Pack, or if your approval or signature is required on a submission.

Notification Settings

To change your notification settings, log in to your Circus account here. Once logged in, you'll land on your Circus Dashboard. From your Dashboard, click your Profile Image in the bottom left corner and then click Account Settings which can also be access by clicking this link.

You can receive notifications by two methods – Email or Push Notifications (in-app).


Push notifications

If you're not receiving notifications within your device's browser or if you receive a message saying "Push messages blocked. Update your browser notification settings" you will need to adjust your browser settings.

Google Chrome Browser

Click to the left of your browser-URL and change the drop-down to enable notifications:


Safari Browser

With Safari opened, click Safari > Preferences > Website > Notifications. "app.circushr.com" will appear with a drop-down toggle for permissions:


Firefox Browser

Click the button next to the URL in your browser, and then click the X beside "Blocked":

Troubleshooting

I'm not receiving email notifications

  • The email address you entered may not match your account (Ensure you're using the correct email address with no spelling mistakes)

  • The email may have ended up in a different folder like "Spam/Junk," "Promotions," or "Updates." Search for support@circushr.com as the sender. if you find it, make sure you mark that email as 'Not Spam' so you can receive future Circus invite emails

I'm still not receiving push notifications

If you've setup two-factor authentication using the Okta app, and have either deleted the app or have a new device, Circus loses its connection with the app entirely which is why the notifications aren't sending. This will need to be disabled, reach out to us at support@circushr.com or chat to us through the live chat icon on the bottom right of your screen, and we can do this for you.
