Learn how to change your password and utilize a password manager.

Password Change

Forgot your password? No worries – when you Sign Out of Circus and then sign back in, after typing your email address, you will see the option to click Forgot Password.

If you do not see this and you automatically sign in, you can use the link:
https://app.circushr.com/forgot

When you reach the Forgot Password page, enter your email address, then Click Send Email. This will send you a confirmation email – click the 'Reset Your Password' button, which will redirect you to the Reset Password page to enter a new password.

✉️ Ensure you click on the latest Password Reset email.

When setting your new password, it must contain:

  • A minimum of 12 characters

  • An uppercase letter

  • A lowercase letter

  • A special character (e.g. @, #, $, %, etc.)

The password cannot include your first or last name.

Once you've successfully changed your password, you can then log in with your new credentials.

NOTE: If you enter an incorrect password multiple times, the account will be locked until you contact support@circushr.com to unlock the account. We strongly suggest changing your password before your account is locked due to using an incorrect password.


Using a Secure Password Manager

If you're having trouble remembering your password, we highly recommend using a password manager to autofill your logins. Firefox, Chrome, Safari (using iCloud) and most other browsers have password managing tools. You can also download secure software manager apps like Dashlane or LastPass.


Troubleshooting

Why is my password reset token expired?

When you reset your password, Circus will send you an email allowing you to click on the button to reset your password. After about 1 hour, the reset token expires for security purposes. If you try to click the Reset Password button within the email after 1 hour, you are presented with this error.

Request a new token here: https://app.circushr.com/forgot and ensure that you're clicking the Reset Password button from the newest email.

I get an error that says 'Password cannot include your name'

This means that you have not yet setup your Circus account, but someone has invited you to Circus. Search for the original invite in your email inbox and click the 'Start Onboarding' button. You'll then be asked to create a password for your account.

Why didn't I get my password reset email?

  • The email address you entered may not match your account (Ensure you're using the correct email address with no spelling mistakes)

  • The email may have ended up in a different folder like "Spam/Junk," "Promotions," or "Updates." Search for support@circushr.com as the sender. if you find it, make sure you mark that email as 'Not Spam' so you can receive future Circus invite emails
